Christina Warnstedt
 Although from the ocean, I have had a growing passion for the Western North Carolina Mountains since I was a child. I live in Ashe County, North Carolina for all the reasons one might live in such as a place: love of the outdoors, the New River, the people, back roads and most of all, the simple life!
After moving to North Carolina, I was employed with the Ashe County School System and our Parks and Recreation. My enthusiasm for the goodness of people, love for the outdoors and the mountains brought me to Appalachian State University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management, I decided to use some of my extra time wisely and pursue getting my real estate license.
When you appreciate and understand a place like I do in Ashe County, you want to share the wealth and knowledge, which brought me to working for Regency Properties. I enjoy meeting new people and working closely with the public. Real estate allows me the opportunity to work personally for the needs of others; believing it is the Realtors job to recognize the interests of our clients and find the best use of the land.
I work hard to play, so when I am not working you’ll find me outside. Exploring, fishing, floating, caving or simply relaxing in my front yard. It is much easier now than it ever has been to stay local, once you are in Ashe County. I am definitely a regular at the West Jefferson Coffee House on the back street in the morning and the back deck of Brickstone on a beautiful sunny afternoon. West Jefferson also has a wonderful Farmer Market that I am drawn to on Saturday mornings; offering fresh local food and smiling faces; a great way to start the weekend!
Obviously, our county is growing, but growth is a good thing and I would like to play a positive role in the change that is occurring in Ashe. I greatly enjoy sharing all the wonderful places and things that our “neck of the woods” offers, so feel free to give me a call and let me show you why we all feel so good about where we live!
